In this context, the objective of this article is to determine the feasibility of a vertical articulation between the Professional Technical Colleges that offer the title of average level in Accounting in the Maule and Bío-Bío region and the Universities of the same regions that offer the Career of Public Accountant and / or Auditor in Chile in order to establish a model or proposal of curricular articulation between these two formative levels. From the methodological point of view, a comprehensive analysis of the curricula of these institutions was carried out to establish an effective articulation model. The proposal considers articulating at least six subjects, one from each training area, which would have to be taken by the students during the secondary education and all the Universities should offer during the first semester. This would allow the students of average education to validate the acquired learning and with this, to reduce the time of permanence in Higher Education to promote an early exit to the labor market. |

La articulación vertical promueve el acceso de los estudiantes de educación media a educación superior; asimismo, permite que estos puedan transitar fluidamente entre estos dos niveles formativos, mediante el reconocimiento de los aprendizajes adquiridos previamente. En este contexto, el objetivo de este artículo es determinar la factibilidad de una articulación vertical entre los Colegios Técnicos Profesionales que ofrecen el título de nivel medio en Contabilidad en la región del Maule y Bío-Bío y las Universidades de las mismas regiones que dicten la carrera de Contador Público y/o Auditor en Chile con el fin de establecer un modelo o propuesta de articulación curricular entre estos dos niveles formativos. Desde el punto de vista metodológico se realizó un análisis exhaustivo de los planes y programas de estudios de estas instituciones para establecer un modelo eficaz de articulación. La propuesta considera articular seis asignaturas como mínimo, una de cada área de formación, las cuales tendrían que ser cursadas por los estudiantes durante la enseñanza media y todas las Universidades debieran ofrecer durante el primer semestre. Lo anterior permitiría a los estudiantes de educación media convalidar los aprendizajes adquiridos y con esto disminuir el tiempo de permanencia en la Educación Superior para promover así una salida temprana al mercado laboral.
