description This article emerges from results of the research project known as violence within educational institutions: A perspective from the experiences of secondary students in the Central Pacific Region, 2010-2012, it was accomplished in six high schools from the Costa Rican Central Pacific Region. From there, it emerges the concern that is urgent to address, from a preventive perspective, conflict and violent situation within educational environments. The research explores, from a qualitative approach, the experiences and beliefs that students give to the violence which lives in their high school. The used tools were projective drawing, focal group and semi-structured interview. One hundred twenty two students participated, with ages between eleven and sixteen years old. The results show that violence exists at many levels of educational relations, physical, psychological and symbolic violence, both outside and inside the classrooms. It highlights the need to think about inequalities and educational and social gaps, construct educational links, supporting networks, and improve educational methodologies. It is carried out, from the psychosocial and subjectivity theories, a reflection about violence within the educational environments; and based on resilience approach, It finishes with the proposal of a psychopedagogical resource which allows the teaching population opens a space to reflect about the educational link and identifies the presence or absence of resilient capacities, both as in students as in institutional level.

Este artículo surge a partir de los resultados del proyecto de investigación “La violencia dentro de las instituciones educativas: Una perspectiva desde las vivencias de los y las estudiantes de secundaria de la Región Pacífico Central (2010-2012)”, llevado a cabo en seis colegios públicos en esta región del pacifico costarricense. De ahí surge la inquietud de que urge abordar, desde una perspectiva preventiva, situaciones de conflicto y violencia que se dan dentro de los entornos educativos. La investigación explora, desde un enfoque cualitativo, las vivencias y creencias que el estudiantado atribuye a la violencia que vive en su colegio. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron dibujo proyectivo, grupo focal y entrevista semiestructurada. Participaron un total de ciento veintidós estudiantes, con edades entre once y dieciséis años. Los resultados muestran que existe violencia en muchos de los niveles de las relaciones educativas, violencia física, psicológica y simbólica, tanto fuera como dentro de las aulas. Se destaca la necesidad de pensar las desigualdades y las brechas educativas y sociales, construir vínculos educativos, redes de apoyo, y mejorar las metodologías educativas. Se realiza, desde las teorías psicosocial y de la subjetividad, una reflexión sobre la violencia dentro de los entornos educativos, desde el enfoque de la resiliencia, se culmina con la propuesta de un recurso psicopedagógico que permita a la población docente, abrir un espacio para reflexionar acerca del vínculo educativo e identificar la presencia o ausencia de capacidades resilientes, tanto en el estudiantado como a nivel institucional.
