description | This article presents the results of a research completed in 2016, with nine girls and six preschool children from a private institution in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia. The objective was to show the progress of his writing process in a socio-constructivist environment with the use of computer resources. It was executed under the qualitative approach, with research-action design and non-participant observation. Four workshops on the subject of living and non-living beings were presented, emphasis was placed on collaborative work with the support of computer resources, writing activities with paper and pencil, and on the computer, with the use of the keyboard. The resulting evidences were classified according to the levels proposed by Emilia Ferreiro: pre-syllabic, syllabic, syllabic-alphabetic and alphabetical. Likewise, the texts produced by the student body were compared in the two modalities, and it was observed that, at the end of the process, six students, in total, were located at the alphabetical level in pencil and paper mode, while with the use of the keyboard two. Apparently, the latter was due to several having their first contact with the computer in the field work. These results show, in addition, the need for a preschool aimed at the use of computer resources and a didactic aimed at play, culture and socialization as a literacy excuse, and designed, in such a way, that children constitute the center of literacy. |

Este artículo expone los resultados de una investigación finalizada en el año 2016, con nueve niñas y seis niños del nivel de Educación Preescolar de una institución privada de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, Colombia. El objetivo fue mostrar los avances de su proceso escritor en un ambiente socio constructivista con el uso de recursos informáticos. Se ejecutó bajo el enfoque cualitativo, con diseño de investigación-acción y observación no participante. Se plantearon cuatro talleres sobre el tema de los seres vivos y no vivos, se hizo énfasis en el trabajo colaborativo con el apoyo de recursos informáticos, actividades de escritura con papel y lápiz, y en el computador, con el uso del teclado. Las evidencias resultantes se clasificaron según los niveles propuestos por Emilia Ferreiro: pre-silábico, silábico, silábico-alfabético y alfabético. Asimismo, se compararon los textos producidos por el cuerpo estudiantil en las dos modalidades, y se observó que, al final del proceso, seis estudiantes, en total, se ubicaron en el nivel alfabético en la modalidad lápiz y papel, mientras que con el uso del teclado solo dos. Al parecer, esto último se debió a que varios tuvieron su primer contacto con el computador en el trabajo de campo. Estos resultados evidencian, además, la necesidad de un preescolar dirigido al uso de recursos informáticos y a una didáctica encaminada al juego, a la cultura y a la socialización como excusa alfabetizadora, y pensado, de manera tal, que la niñez constituya el centro de alfabetización.
