El presente ensayo tiene como propósito reflexionar sobre la construcción social de los significados a partir de la eclosión del mundo de la vida en la actualidad posmoderna. Además, propongo que esta eclosión hace posible un salto epistemológico que podría viabilizar el tránsito del “reino de la necesidad al reino de la libertad” en el plano de la cultura y de las subjetividades. Lo hago principalmente a partir del planteamiento de Castoriadis sobre la institución de los significados imaginarios sociales.
