El presente artículo se enfoca en el análisis de los conflictos en la comunicación de expectativas generalizadas de comportamiento —en particular el perdón— a partir de la Teoría de los Sistemas Sociales de Niklas Luhmann. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica para abordar sus características, clasificación y los significados que los sistemas político, jurídico y religioso le atribuyen, lo cual, permitió distinguir las diferencias de enfoque y la persona activa en su ejercicio.
