Sumario: | Since the post-war era, international organizations have sought to influence science and technology policy in the Latin American region. However, technical advisory services have not always affected the design of policies. This article examines the method by which governments identify priority sectors in science and technology that Unesco developed and disseminated; specifically, it analyzes its implementation in Argentina in 1980. The analysis shows that the influence of Unesco was reduced and limited due to the implications of the context of a dictatorial government. |
