Este artículo propone, desde una perspectiva genealógica, una lectura de la configuración de la domesticidad en los debates acerca de la cuestión social. Para ello examina el modo en que lo doméstico surge en dos problematizaciones: la contraposición del hogar y el taller, y la “cuestión de la vivienda”, para así dar cuenta de los principa-les rasgos de la conformación histórica de la domesticidad.
