Sumario:This paper analyzes the articulation that exists between the 2009 coup d’état in Honduras and the increase of journalists murders in that country, as a result of the reconfiguration of power relations between local and international social actors at that time; as well as the concealment of the coup d’état carried out by the written press, through the examination of the ideological-political discourse used in different newspaper articles.
