Sumario:The primary objective of this article is to describe the assessment research personnel have of journalist personnel, based on an descriptive research made with 25 investigation centers and institutes of the University of Costa Rica. The results show that connected attitudes and perceptions can be improved in benefit of the progression of scientific knowledge and of the communicativeness of science. In this sense it’s necessary that research personnel identity the skills and meeting points that renew the ties between the two professions, with the intention of better understating the inner workings that make up the public communication of science process.
