Summary:The article aim is the examination of what constitutes, in José Revueltas and Henri Lefebvre, the deployment of the dialectical method in the analysis of social reality, knowing that for both authors, the dialectical movement of negativity (the critique) represents an essential moment in their theoretical approaches. To accomplish it, the analysis of three categories, considered transversal and closely linked in their works, will be taken as route of entry to the authors’ projects, namely: everyday, alienation and praxis.
