Este artículo tiene como objetivo estudiar la manera en que el Museo Nacional de Colombia refleja diversas transformaciones en los modos de representar lo nacional, las cuales guardan coherencia con las Constituciones Políticas de 1886 y de 1991. El Museo Nacional, como un espacio de exhibición y de construcción narrativa que pretende incidir en la identidad y en la memoria nacional colombiana, atraviesa diversas situaciones de cambio que permiten atender paradigmas dentro de las formas de cuestionar la conceptualización de lo nacional, principalmente en un momento en el que el país atraviesa un proceso de paz y en un mundo con fronteras cada vez más difusas por los procesos de la globalización.
