Esta investigación tiene el propósito de levantar un estado del arte de las propuestas formativasen el ámbito de la salud, orientadas a la población juvenil, en el campo de la educaciónno formal, en los sectores público, privado y mixto, desarrolladas en la ciudad de Medellín,Colombia, entre el 2000-2006. Se realizó con un enfoque hermenéutico aplicado al análisisde textos escritos, previo diseño de un sistema categorial y recolección de información, através de una guía de revisión documental diseñada para tal fin, asimismo, el análisis de losdatos se realizó manualmente. Se obtuvieron como resultado tres énfasis de formación en laspropuestas: preventivo biológico, psico social y psico sociocultural.
