Résumé:The Cuban Revolutionary Party (CRP) was constituted on the 10th of April of 1892, by José Martí as the political instrument necessary to organize and lead the definitive war against the Spanish colonialism. Martí was to create the bases for the establishment of a democratic republic in Cuba, “a right republic” “with everybody and for the good of everybody”. Some concepts of Martí about the indispensable democratic principles in the process are analyzed in this article.
