Sumario:The article analyzes the formation of the Central American political regional community in the beginnings of the XX century. It is emphasized in the study of the process of Central American political integration starting from the Treaty of Corinth of 1902 and the later subscription of the Treaty of Peace, Friendship and Trade of 1906, undersigned in San José, Costa Rica. The central concept of the article is that of political community, from which is approached the Central American regional socio-political dynamics and its relationship with the processes of regional integration.
